Inger Villadsen

D.C., M.Sc. (Clin Epi), Postgard. Dip., NMS Rehabilitation

Inger was born in Denmark and studied chiropractic at Odense University and Anglo European College of Chiropractic in Bournemouth, England graduating in 1985.

After working for 3 years in Europe, Inger migrated to Australia and commenced private practice in 1988. Her main clinical interests are the rehabilitation of chronic conditions and the implementation of preventative measures against reoccurrence for patients presenting with back pain. Inger’s practice focus also particularly includes the athletic enhancement of elite performers. 

Inger has been a certified DNS instructor since 2007, lecturing and/or supporting Prague instructors in DNS courses and workshops in Australia, Japan, Europe and North America.

Ciaran Lavers

B.Sc (Chiro), M.chiro

A chiropractor and coach who brings a unique perspective to his practice. Ciaran has played multiple highly competitive sports, including tennis, soccer, and triathlon/ironman, and he draws upon this experience to provide a path of rehabilitation that he himself missed. He has a genuine desire to help others in a similar position.

Ciaran's passion for sports and rehabilitation led him to pursue a Master of Chiropractic from Macquarie University in Sydney. He is a qualified ASCA strength and conditioning coach, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) certified exercise trainer, and holds level 1 & 2 qualifications in dry needling.

Ciaran's personal experience with injury and rehabilitation has given him a unique perspective on the needs of his patients. He understands the frustration and challenges that come with injury and aims to provide personalised care and support to help his patients achieve their goals. With a focus on rehabilitation and strength training, Ciaran uses his expertise to create individually tailored exercise programs that help patients take charge of their own pain experience.

Martin Vaughan

Remedial Massage Therapist

Martin has been with Nineways for over a decade, an experienced practitioner he specialises in Therapeutic, remedial, and sports massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy.

Martin is a member of the ATMS and is registered with all major health funds that provide rebates for remedial massage.

 

Martin is available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday after 4 pm for our clients please call the clinic to make an appointment.

John Sweaney
In Memoriam Chiropractor/Director

Graduating from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1968, John served as the President of the Australian Chiropractors Association from '78 to '80, and as its Executive Director for an additional 12 years.

 

John continued his education legislation by serving 12 years on the Executive Board for the World Federation of Chiropractic, including 3 years as its President.

 

Moreover, John was an Executive Member of Chiropractic Education Australia and the Chairman of Hands on Health Australia, a charity organisation focused on providing healthcare to marginalized communities.

John Sweaney's passion for ethical growth and integration of Chiropractic into the mainstream healthcare system was unparalleled. He was determined to close the Health Equity Gap and deliver practical healthcare to those who needed it the most.

To the Nineways Chiropractic Clinic, John provided knowledge and ambition. It was his objective to create a safe learning environment for each employee, and to ensure that the care provided was professional and patient-centric.   John will be sorely missed by the team, as he touched the hearts of employees and patients alike.
